  Smith is an influence of Alex G and it shows. Rocket at times sounds punk rock, but its' best moments (for me) are when it is mellow and there are banjos and the songs focus on storytelling. My advice on this one is: listen to "proud" (the most accessible song in the bunch). If you don't like it, give this album /5(19).
